What I Do
I work with governments, non-profits, agile teams, researchers and other stakeholders to improve digital services. So far, I've partnered with Connecticut's Office of Early Childhood to improve their data systems and NYC Mayor's Office of Data and Analytics to shape a strategy for data sharing procurement.
The Studio
A team at the NYC Mayor's Office bringing design methods to public services for low-income New Yorkers.
What I Did
Collaborated with families, our partner agency and community providers on Pathways to Prevention, a project in child welfare. Involved 50+ families and staff in research, co-design, prototyping and storytelling. Deliverables from the project are being used to spread design methods across the agency and create a more family-centered process for projects.

What I Did
Worked in cross-disciplinary teams with IT, clinical staff and administrators to unearth user needs, envision future experiences and test concepts in clinics. Shared insights and co-created concepts with senior leadership. Advocated for human-centered processes in a large, bureaucratic company with few designers.

Builds products with utility companies to motivate people to use less energy and improve the interactions they have with their utility.
What I Did
With a focus on designing for behavior change, I illustrated energy saving tips for printed reports, visualized home energy use, worked with utility clients to customize Opower products and contributed to the Opower styleguide.

Worked on a variety of client projects. Contributed to concept development, interaction patterns, visual design and specifications.

What I Did
Worked to design software to support small practice healthcare providers. Involved in all stages of the design process including research, testing, and prototyping concepts from paper sketches to interactive HTML and CSS.

What I Did
Joined a team redesigning the experience of primary care. I was involved with in-clinic research, service-design and communication of complex systems to various stakeholders, including the Board of Governors.
